THIRD PARTY FUNDING
What is Third Party Funding?
A third party funder is an organisation, which is not an insurance company, willing to invest in your case. It is a method of funding which may be available in circumstances where no other method is suitable.
Third party funding can be quite complicated and will depend very much on your specific circumstances. Your conducting solicitor will explain this option to you in more detail and help assess whether you will be eligible.
JWK Solicitors is not regulated by the Financial Services Authority. However, we are included on the register maintained by the Financial Services Authority so that we can carry on exempt regulated activities.
This part of our business, including arrangements for complaints or redress if something goes wrong, is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. The register can be accessed via the Financial Services Authority website under ‘EPF Search’.
We are not contractually obliged to give advice on the basis of a fair analysis of a sufficiently large number of insurance contracts available on the market to enable us to make a recommendation in accordance with professional criteria regarding which contract of insurance would be adequate to meet your needs.
